17-Year Old Dies After Roll-Over Crash Into Pond In Bradenton
Manatee County - Florida highway patrol announced that a teenager has died after losing control of his sedan and overturning into a pond Sunday afternoon.
According to the release, FHP stated that the crash began as a 17-year-old boy from Bradenton was driving a sedan westbound on 44th Avenue East, east of 19th Street Court East very early Sunday morning.
At 4:50 AM, for reasons unknown, the sedan veered off the road and traveled across the median driving over the sidewalk and grass shoulder. The sedan then overturned before crashing into a pond and coming to a rest on the roof of the car.
Authorities pronounced the teenager deceased at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
