23 Year Old Bradenton Man Dies In Tragic Auto Accident

BRADENTON – Florida Highway Patrol has announced a tragic crash has ended the life of a 23-year-old man from Bradenton.

The crash took place Friday evening as a 23-year-old was driving a sedan northbound on 87th Street East, approaching a sweeping curve in the road south of 52nd Avenue East.

At 6:12 PM the young man encountered the curve but failed to negotiate the turn and his vehicle exited the roadway.

After the car traveled off the roadway onto the west grass shoulder of 87th Street East, where the car crashed into a tree.

Unfortunately the report states that the young man had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and the severe impact with the tree caused him to be fatally injured.

FHP has stated that the crash remains under investigation.

We urge all drivers new and experienced to wear your seat belts – they can, and do save lives. Without seat belts even minor highly-survivable accidents can be fatal or disabling. Our hearts go out to all affected by this terrible crash.
