A Single Car Crash In Bradenton Leaves 2 Dead And One Seriously Injured Early Sunday
MANATEE COUNTY - Florida Highway Patrol has announced that two people are dead and one person is in serious condition after a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Bradenton.
FHP stated that the accident was located on 17th street west and 2nd Avenue east.
The driver of the sedan involved in the crash was a 31-year-old man from Palmetto, with a male passenger age 35, and a female passenger age 32 also of Palmetto.
The report states that the accident occurred as the sedan was traveling eastbound on 17th Street West approaching the intersection with 2nd Avenue East. At 1:11:00 AM the driver failed to maintain control of his vehicle and the sedan traveled across the median, rotated then entered to the south shoulder of 17th Street West, and collided with a chain-link fence before crashing into a concrete electrical pole.
FHP states that both the driver of the sedan and the male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
None of the occupants of the vehicle had been wearing seatbelts during the crash.
FHP has stated that the investigation is ongoing according.
