Bradenton Man Dies In Crash On I-75 At SR 64
BRADENTON FL - FHP announced one person was killed in a car accident on Interstate 75 near the Manatee Avenue Exit.
The crash occurred as a Chevy van driven by a 72-year-old man from Bradenton was driving northbound on Interstate 75 directly alongside a Chevy Camero driven by a 22-year-old man also from Bradenton were approaching the SR 64 exit early Sunday morning.
At 4:50:00 AM the driver of the Chevy van attempted to change lanes and crashed into the Chevy Camero in the adjacent lane.
The left rear side of the van crashed into the right front side of the car.
The collision forced the car into the grass median where the Camero crashed into a steel pole at speed.
The 22-year-old driver of the Camero was killed in the crash.
The crash report stated the driver of the Camero had not been wearing a seatbelt in the accident.
