Bradenton Motorcyclist Dies In Crash At I-75 Off-Ramp And State Road 70
MANATEE COUNTY - Florida Highway Patrol has reported one person has died after being involved in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening.
The crash began Saturday night as a 35-year-old man from Bradenton riding a motorcycle heading south on Interstate 75 approaching the exit ramp at State Road 70.
The man exited the highway and continued south on the exit ramp to travel onto SR 70.
At 8:00:00 PM, for reasons unknown, the motorcyclist failed to negotiate the curving off-ramp and traveled off the roadway where the motorcycle overturned at speed.
After overturning the motorcyclist continued forward where he came to a stop within a drainage pond.
FHP stated that the man was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
