David Goldman Speaks At Share The Light Fundraising Event For Local Charity
Sarasota, FL - Attorney David L. Goldman was a featured speaker at the 'Share the Light' fundraising luncheon event held on October 25, 2018 in Sarasota at Michael’s on East. The event was to benefit Second Chance Last Opportunity, a local charity in Sarasota. Mr. Goldman, a partner of the law firm Shapiro, Goldman, Babboni, Fernandez & Walsh, serves as the chairman of this charitable organization. The honorees at this year’s luncheon were the Honorable Rochelle Curley, a well-respected local judge, and Sarah Kupiec of the Benderson Group for her work with Second Chance’s "Out of the Box" youth program.
Second Chance was founded 23 years ago in 1995 by April Glasco, whose tireless efforts continue to make Second Chance one of the most successful grass-roots charitable organizations in the area. As a 501(C)(3) charitable organization that teaches life-skills management training and assists those who are truly committed to turning their lives around, Second Chance makes a real difference in the community. For over two decades those in need know that they can find help in the little purple building located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Sarasota.
Mr. Goldman has been a member of the board of directors of Second Chance for fifteen years and now serves as the organization’s volunteer chairman. Goldman stated "no matter who you are or how bad your circumstances might be it is never too late to get a new start in life. It may not be easy and it will take a real commitment to change, but everyone deserves a second chance."
