Englewood Man Seriously Hurt After Being Struck By Pickup In McDonald's Friday Night
Englewood FL - Florida Highway Patrol reported they are searching for the driver of a black pickup truck, that struck a man in a parking lot the evening of Friday November 4th.
The incident occurred in a Mcdonald's parking lot located at 13418 McCall Road, Port Charlotte (east Englewood area), as a 47-year-old man from Englewood was walking in the parking lot.
At approximately 10:34pm the driver of a black pickup truck drove toward the man and struck him with the vehicle, then fled the scene of the collision.
The pedestrian was seriously injured by the crash and was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical treatment.
FHP has asked that anyone with information regarding the pickup truck and driver, to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 239-938-1800 or through the Florida Crimestoppers website.
