Man Struck And Killed By Car On 15th St East In Bradenton

MANATEE COUNTY - Florida Highway Patrol reported one personal has died as a result of a hit and run crash early Monday morning.

The crash took place as 51 year old Pablo Isabel Salguero Tobar of Bradenton Florida was crossing 15th Street East, north of 57th Avenue East on foot very early Monday morning.

As Tobar attempted to walk across the road from the west side to the east side a unidentified vehicle was approaching from the south on 15th St E.

The vehicle failed to slow or avoid Tobar and collided with the pedestrian at speed. After striking Tobar the driver fled the scene.

Pablo Isabel Salguero Tobar was pronounced dead at the scene. A witness has described the vehicle as a blue Honda.
