Manatee County Motorcycle Crash Leaves 2 In Critical Condition

BRADENTON FL- Florida Highway Patrol announced that a man and woman were both critically injured near Arcadia after a motorcycle crash on Sunday morning.

The crash took place as 32 year old Andew Evan Combs of Sarasota was riding a 2005 Honda CBR 1000 motorcycle eastbound on Wauchula road, with passenger 24 year old Amanda Rose Fishman also from Sarasota approaching the left curve at Ballard Road.

At approximately 11:17 a.m Combs failed to negotiate the curve, and traveling off the roadway to the right onto Ballard Road, the front of the motorbike collided with a street sign causing both Combs and Fishman to be separated from the bike onto the grass shoulder.

Both Andrew Evan Combs and Amanda Rose Fishman were transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where they were listed in critical condition.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, both motorcyclists were wearing Helmets at the time of the crash.
