Motorcycle Crash in Sarasota Leaves one Man in Critical Condition Early Sunday Morning
Sarasota County - Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one man is in serious condition after a single motorcycle accident Early Sunday morning in Sarasota.
FHP stated that the accident was located on Beneva Road and Hacienda street
The driver of the motorcycle involved in the accident was a man, age 25 from Sarasota, Florida.
The report states that the accident occurred as the motorcycle with a male driver aged 25 from Sarasota, Florida was traveling south on Beneva Road, north of Hacienda street.
At 12:45 AM the motorcyclist traveled off the roadway and collided with the raised concrete curb and the motorcycle overturned. This caused the driver of the motorcycle to become separated from the motorcycle.
The 25-year-old man from Sarasota was then transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical condition. This crash remains under investigation by authorities.
UPDATE:
The driver of the motorcycle has now died at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on 4-10-2022. This investigation remains ongoing at this time.
