One Dead And Two Critically Injured In Fiery Car Crash On 15th Street East
BRADENTON - Florida Highway Patrol announced that two people are in critical condition, a 2-year-old boy and an adult man, and one person has died after a single-car crash Saturday morning.
The accident began as a sedan was heading southbound on 15th Street East near 53rd Avenue East.
An unidentified man was behind the wheel, with two passengers, a 29-year-old woman from Bradenton, and a 2-year-old boy from Bradenton.
At 11:50:00 PM, for reasons unknown, the car swerved off the roadway and onto the shoulder where it crashed into a tree.
After the collision, the car rotated and came to a stop on 15th Street East where it caught fire.
The 29-year-old female passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.
The 2-year-old boy was taken and rushed to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the car was taken to a local area hospital for treatment in critical condition.
FHP has stated that the crash is under investigation.
