One Person Died And 4 Injured In Crash On 32nd Ave East In Bradenton
MANATEE COUNTY - Florida Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash in Bradenton on 32nd Avenue East Thursday night.
The crash took place as a 21 year old woman from Bradenton was driving a pickup truck eastbound on 32nd Avenue East, heading toward the intersection with 62nd Street East.
In addition to the driver, the pickup truck was also traveling with 4 passengers, a 24 year old man from Bradenton, a 22 year old man from Zephyrhills, a 20 year old man from Tampa, and a 24 year old man from Bradenton.
Only pickup truck's driver had been wearing a seat belt.
At 11:54:00 PM in the evening, the driver lost control of the vehicle and swerved toward the left, crossing the westbound lane of 32nd Avenue East where the truck drove into a driveway at 6115 32nd Avenue East.
The truck crashed into a concrete wall, and collided with a mailbox at the driveway. After crashing into the wall the pickup truck became airborne and crashed through a fence before colliding with a wooden telephone pole and Verizon utility box.
The vehicle finally came to a stop in a ditch on the west shoulder of 32nd Avenue East facing Southwest.
During the violent crash the 24 year old man from Bradenton who had been in the left rear of the vehicle was ejected from the pickup truck.
The driver, and remaining passengers within the pickup truck suffered only minor injuries after the crash, however the 24 year old man from Bradenton who was ejected died from his injuries.
