Police Looking For Black F-150 After Fiery Hit-And-Run Crash In Ft Myers Injures Two
Ft Myers, Lee County FL - Authorities are looking for a black F-150 pickup truck after it fled the scene of a crash with injuries in Fort Myers very early Sunday morning.
The crash happened as a 27-year-old man from Ft Myers was driving a sedan westbound on San Carlos Boulevard, east of Pine Dr, with a 30-year-old male passenger.
As the car headed west, a pickup truck was approaching from the east in the opposite lane on San Carlos Blvd.
At 4:09:00 AM, the pickup truck drifted into the westbound lanes and into the path of the oncoming sedan.
The front of the pickup truck crashed into the front of the car, can the car burst into flames after the collision.
After the crash, the driver of the black F-150 pickup truck fled the scene.
Both the 27-year-old driver and the 30-year-old passenger escaped the crash is minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
