Sarasota Man Dies In Crash On Beneva Road
SARASOTA FL - Florida Highway Patrol announced one person was killed when the SUV they were driving swerved from the road crashed Sunday night.
According to the accident report the crash took place as a 33-year-old man from Sarasota was driving a Sport Utility Vehicle heading north on Beneva Road in the right lane, approaching the intersection with Tin Cup Boulevard.
At 8:56:00 PM for reasons unknown, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the SUV swerved to the left driving across the lane and leaving roadway onto the grass median.
After entering the median the SUV crashed into a tree and rolled over.
The Sport Utility Vehicle came to a final stop on the median in Beneva Road facing east.
The driver had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
