Sarasota Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit On US 41 At Livingstone St

Sarasota FL- Florida Highway Patrol has announced that a male pedestrian aged 33 died in a fatal crosswalk accident with a Sedan during late Friday evening.

The crash happened as the 77 year old female Sedan driver was traveling southbound on U.S 41 approaching the circular green traffic signal at Livingstone street.

At 9:21 PM the male pedestrian was crossing the intersection at the marked crosswalk while the signal was red immediately after the Sedan crashed into the man.

As a result of the crash the man sustained fatal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
