Sarasota Woman Critically Injured After Overturning Car on I-75 Ramp At University Parkway Wednesday Night
Sarasota County - Florida Highway Patrol has announced that one person is in critical condition after an accident in Sarasota County Wednesday Night
According to the report, the accident began as a 29-year-old woman from Sarasota was driving a sedan eastbound on County Road-610 (University Parkway) entering the I-75 (state Road-93) entrance ramp.
As the sedan attempted to negotiate the right curve on the I-75 (SR-93) entrance ramp, the woman failed to maintain control of the car.
As a result, at 10:12 P.M. the sedan traveled off the roadway to the left and began to rotate in a clockwise direction. The left side of the sedan then collided with a small tree as the vehicle continued in an easterly direction.
The sedan then overturned onto it’s roof where the front right portion of the sedan collided with a tree.
The sedan then continued east where the right side collided with another tree. The sedan came to a final rest on it’s roof facing west against a tree.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate this crash.
