St Petersburg Police Respond To Burning Car On I-275


Pinellas County FL – St Petersburg Police responded to a burning vehicle Wednesday morning.

The vehicle, a sedan was parked on the inside shoulder of Interstate 275, and the engine compartment was engulfed in flames, as officers were on-scene.

The car fire was located on the left shoulder of southbound I-275 near 54th street.

Officers blocked the left lane ahead of the burning car preventing oncoming traffic from entering the path of the flames.

It is not yet known if there were any injuries, or what the cause of the blaze was.
