Two Drivers Seriously Injured After Wrong-Way Head-On Crash On 26th Street West In Bradenton


Manatee County – Florida Highway Patrol has announced that two people are seriously injured after an auto accident in Bradenton Tuesday Night.

According to the report by FHP, the serious accident began as a Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by a 31-year-old man from Bradenton, Florida, was traveling north (going the wrong way) in the southbound travel lane of 26th Street West.

At the same time a sedan driven by a 30-year-old woman from Venice, Florida, was traveling south on 26th Street West.

At 11:00:00 PM, the front of the F-150 pickup truck collided with the front of the sedan as the two vehicles hit head-on.

The 31-year-old man driving the pickup truck and the 30-year-old woman was transported to Blake Medical Center with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
