A Reminder About Left-Turn Crashes and Motorcycles

Left-turn collisions are one of the most common types of serious motorcycle accidents in Florida. Drivers often focus on oncoming traffic but fail to properly judge the speed or visibility of a motorcycle.

Motorcyclists have the same rights to the roadway as any other vehicle. Taking an extra moment to check for motorcycles, especially before turning left at intersections like U.S. 41, can help prevent serious and fatal crashes.
